Sunset Harmony: 3ct Cushion-Cut Tourmaline
This was my first heavily bicolor tourmaline—warm amber and soft rose hues dancing on perpendicular axes—and I didn’t even grasp how beautifully they’d meld after cutting. Sourced from a bargain lot, it hides a tiny feather (or fracture?) off one edge, but in the finished 3+ ct gem it’s barely noticeable. The community loved it so much it even moonlighted as our temporary logo—proof that a little imperfection can make a stone unforgettable.
